@Eva12218 Toyota sets the standard way higher than any European cars. Their idea is simplicity and sophistication when needed like their Hybrid cars. Statistically, there are thousands of Hybrid Toyota pass 200k miles without issues compared to any small Turbo engines with dual-clutch cars that can pass 100k miles without any problems.

Yaris is like a horse. Just fill and go, fill and go... Nothing needs to be worried like most direct injection engines from VW family. post 2016, no body want Diesel, it is a dark past.

@dragospahontu Offcourse, that's why it is idiotic to have EV trucks or full-size SUV. There is a reason why Land Cruiser still comes with V8 Diesel for UN officials.

@dragospahontu EV is ideal for Singapore or a tiny island country with mild weather. Hybrid makes more sense and greener in every respect than EV. 1 Tesla model 3 can make more than 50 Camry Hybrid, and carmakers as big as Toyota or VW go greener by putting more hybrid in millions of cars than just a few thousands EV. After 15 years or more, these battery need replacement, and Toyota hybrid battery only cost about $3k total meanwhile any EV is basically becoming scrap metals because battery replacement is close to $40k or more.

@dragospahontu No, they actually accept the facts that hybrid gives greener earth than EV. Tesla is a replacement for luxury like Benz/BMW, not for Corolla or Golf.
