  1. Toyota makes Millions of cars and Truck per month not just few thousands of EV. Putting Hybrid for everyone with only 1kWh battery is greener than 1 EV and 40 regular ICE cars. Not everyone have garage and charging stations yet. In many places, electricity are actually more expensive than electricity. Even in Europe, per Km hybrid ending up cheaper than EV. Even worse if we considered the EV battery replacement at one point. It is ridiculous to scrap the car every 12 or 15 years when the EV battery is no longer reaching 1/2 of the range. Meanwhile many hybrid still go beyond 15 years 300 000 miles in some places when the weather is not too hot like West Europe or Northern USA.
