  1. I'm a teacher & I think colleges today are bullshit. When I was young, the standards were higher to get in so staying in was not as hard. Average kids back then got a 2yr license, trade or went to work in industry - they should do same today! Why torture yourself? for what? to get a better job? move up? that is a fairy tale, joke is on you & your parents. The real issue is lack of manufacturing! Failing economy! YOu have been conned into a life of serfdom! It's not your fault! I graduated from a PA state university in 1967. My tuition was $400 per year. There was public trans so I lived at home & worked p/t, paid my own expenses. No debt, no hardship! My first year salary was $5,600 as a first year teacher, enough to rent a small apartment, just the basics. Sam looks like he was" rode hard & put away wet" lol
