I don't think that confederate statues should be removed because taking them down "white washes" the harm that people to others - let them live with it as a reminder to do better, this is really a scourge on history of whites slave owners of that time not blacks who were exploited & victimized - the truth is not being told about the Civil War either, it was all about economics, there were no heroes on either side - all of this violence turns back the clock to days without justice under the law, it is the unjust enforcement today that is the real issue. Hate speech to incite violence needs to be illegal. Open carry laws are despicable and no one can tell me the KKK, etc were there for peaceful resolution with guns. Peaceful marches are always the antithesis of hate!
