  2. Mike C - yeah but Mike C without consumers the market crashes like in 1929. Until Reagan there were controls on income at the top initiated by FDR & we did have a gold standard until Nixon. We are headed to another major depression.

  3. Good show! You sound very smart, Jimmy. Taxes are simply government control of populace, - rich don't pay. Dollars are only paper, value depends on faith & confidence of consumers. My concern is international markets, not so sure the dollar will remain trade currency, esp exchange for petro dollars. This could topple US faster than bombs. I think Dr Richard Wolff, Democracy at Work did a show on this, brilliant & good teacher. Another good MMT is Real Progressives. both on you tube. It will take a change in the mentality of people before we can fix anything. We need better public education.
