I taught school in SW Philly, does that make me black, poor, too? Working there is one thing, living in these neighborhoods with no hope of getting out is another. He's a fraud!

  2. ralphinator2 yes it means people, duh? but it is regional term, nobody in Philly says "folks" hence folklore, folk music, folk art - it implies "country" & unsophisticated
