  1. I'm not sure what Woody Allen did do because he was never tried or convicted though marrying his step daughter is a clear sign that something untoward happened. It is "sad" because I loved his movies, he was brilliant! We are all flawed but this behavior crosses the line into depravity, unacceptable on every level. When this story first broke I felt sick to my stomach. As far as I am aware Harvey only preyed upon adult women. The big question is does power & money corrupt or are are these sickos given a free pass when they get rich & powerful? He is not the only one so we need to take a broader look at our society - how do we prevent these crimes against women & how do we protect them, make them feel safe, give them support? Why weren't these men outed & punished earlier? Even as a woman I have to admit that some of these women could have & should have taken action. Why didn't they just walk out? Many were already rich & came from powerful families so why didn't they speak out to protect younger, more vulnerable women from being abused? This bothers me a lot. It doesn't excuse Harvey, Bill Cosby, etc but...
