  17. Nicola, average age to take a few independent steps is 10 mos to 1 year, RT got it right, 18 mos. Babies "walking" at 9 mos is usually just a step or more in a playpen. . My son who could walk a mile if he held my hand, if I let go, he sat down, fear, insecurity. Walking & running like that is typical of 15 mos or later. Walking too early is not a sign of genius, in fact can be dangerous for proper development because crawling is essential! Also too much weight for little legs to carry. Very large babies can be later than smaller ones. Tho walking late can be a sign of delayed development

We need public financing of elections with more parties, open primaries and no superdelegates! In fact, why do we need to go to polls? Almost all of us could vote from home like we pay our taxes.
