  1. Kinky Bartender1 - thank you! he also protested at U of Chicago, almost lost his scholarship fighting against inequity & equality. I'm 74 - we were activists, not like today. We were fierce. Bernie believes & I know he does because I did & I do. I almost lost my teaching job because I brought a busload of black city kids to my all white suburban school for a picnic. Parents protested, I was in the local papers lol The kids had a wonderful time. My teacher friend & I were young lol This is how it was,. Bernie is the real deal.

  3. guy lamson - these kids got a raw deal. I am 74 & paid almost nothing for a college degree from a highly ranked PA state university. No loans, p/t job & summers paid for all of it. Got a job within 2 weeks - these kids got screwed by a broken system. They are depressed & unfortunately, they went to college for the wrong reasons - to get a job not to learn. Now they are at WalMart or McDonalds. Sad. Why can't we have a fair education system again? Defense budget, war is more important than our kids

Forget critical thinking skills - I taught a long time ago - my 5th graders knew more than college grads now. This is why we have Trump.

Socialism today is "Democratic Socialism" think Scandinavia , small to medium businesses with social programs like medicare for all, libraries, schools, parks - think limited partnerships not Wall Street! Please watch Dr Richard Wolff or Michael Brooks or BERNIE SANDERS. You have bought into the propaganda of capitalism gone rogue that only helps the rich. Bernie is an FDR democrat - you need to do your homework! . It worked in 1932 & it can work now with some green energy jobs to save our planet & improve our quality of life.
