  2. I am a retired teacher, still p/t but I counsel young people to go to an affordable community college or trade school. Get certification as X-ray tech, dental hygienist, pre-school, plumbing. electrician or wherever they can gain immediate employment upon graduation. This way they are free from student debt & can earn, get health benefits & often subsidies from employer to complete a 4 yr degree at night.
