Prometheus - why make this a partisan issue when it affects all consumers & workers?

VoteGreen - You need to do research re Sherman Anti Trust Act. You are the blind man touching tail instead of understanding "monopoly monster" created by Ronald Reagan & fed by Bill Clinton's NAFTA / globalization. (see links) Amazon is not a manufacturer only a distributor! Amazon can ship from anywhere in the world & do. Amazon cannot be hurt by consumers boycotting their products, they don't make anything! Manufacturers & small companies who contract with amazon would be your unintended victims. The actions needed to raise workers' compensation would be a nationwide strike by amazon employees to pressure Congress to raise the nation's minimum wage to $15 as Bernie campaigned and to reinforce the Sherman Anti-trust Act as originally written. Melanie S - highly ineffectual but hope it makes you feel better - energy would be better spent fighting for $15 & voting for progressives at every level

Prometheus - You should have a HUGE problem with Bezos since he pays no taxes!. BUT WE do! plus WE pay for the food stamps, medicaid & housing subsidies for his employees to survive because the greedy bastard doesn't pay a living wage! The only way to force him to pay higher wages is to embrace Bernie's plan which is expanded FDR New Deal to tax the greedy bastards & force him thru legislation to raise minimum wage to $15 an hour. What you suggest is not capitalism but co-ops which I agree with. Watch Dr Richard Wolff
