  5.    BERNIE HAS FOUGHT FOR UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE / M4A FOR OVER 40 YEARS IN RAIN & SNOW, HEAT & COLD. Ironically, Bernie doesn't have to do this because he has government coverage, best in US. He has made many sacrifices for all of us so perhaps you should listen because M4A is FOREVER COVERAGE! NO out of pocket. No worries! I feel bad for anyone who has to do what you did when most of the world has excellent care for a fraction of what you will pay in premiums. You lost wages/money, probably got a cold & next year, you may have to do it all over again - what will you do if you get laid off? Where is parachute? How much will your premium be? Out of pocket costs? catastrophic illness? Prescription,dental & vision included? How much are you union dues? Do the math!

  14. I hear ya. Minimum wage was a $1 in 1963. I'm 75 from lower middle class family with a widowed mother & 3 siblings. I went to a PA State Uni that cost $250 per year tuition. I commuted using public trans. I worked 4 nights a week as a waitress (50 cents hr +tips) to pay for tuition, books, clothes & all my expenses incl Blue Cross & shield. When I taught healthcare was paid for by school district as was 75% of my grad work. My husband & I both teachers bought a house when we were 23 wi FHA loan. SO WHY CAN'T WE DO THIS NOW?????
