  3. I am senior so I get a whopping $15 dollars a month increase in SSI because they raised my medicare. I'm 75 & I get $16 per month in food stamps but I have to reapply every year which costs me gas because I need to have an appt. (30 miles 1 way) Naturally I rely on food banks. Yes, I'm white, educated & live with chronic pain. My poverty was caused by my company closing = lessening of 401K, medical bills so collected SSI early - I had to! Welcome to America. I detest Trump but he isn't the beginning of this horror
