  1. David, you are wrong, the democratic party & rigged, corrupt party system is the problem. CLOSED PRIMARIES SHOULD BE ILLEGAL. Most independents can't vote in primaries. Even Repubs who hate Trump can't vote. Too often the waiting time is too long for people who are undecided or who don't know how outrageous it is for corruptions to call the shots on a so-called democracy.   2. NO, your son is wrong because this is how trump won. I voted 3rd party & if everyone who stayed home had done so, US would be a different country today. Think about it! Yes, I will vote for Bernie but primaries are closed which is why all the marketing in the world won't work
