  1. I taught El Ed in public school in 1967 - it was an amazing experience! max 25 kids in a class, teacher's aides, school sec, PTA/ parent support. On nice days we walked the kids to the park for science & planted flowers around the school grounds, cooked food in the kitchen, mandatory monthly field trips & participation in creative assemblies, cross-teaching plus classes in library, art, music phys ed, guest speakers, etc, we called it the "discovery method" hands on active learning...we were #1 in the world ranking and now at #37...you tell me what works????
