We need hate speech laws like Canada. The one who gets the permit first, wins, the other group waits but they should not be allowed to protest at the same time in the same city Why the hell wasn't this inflammatory issue put on a ballot initiative? A compromise could be possible. Identity politics is dangerous! It is used to divide not unite the people of this country. Voters need to study the issues then actively work to get the party & person elected. Briahna, you speak well but you are a hypocrite. You consider yourself to be an intellectual elite but you lack wisdom. Off-handedly dismissing people who go to church or lead a faith-based life is shameful! you sound like Hillary Clinton re "deplorables" or Trump's "pussy grabber" It doesn't matter how you divide or what traits you use to discriminate, you are part of the problem.
