  1. Why do they think hamas is going to agree to a ceasefire? They want this war to continue. So they can get all the other arab states and terror groups to join in. Thats their ultimate aim. A short ceasefire for humanitarian aid they might agree to as it will give them more time. Evacuation of civilians trapped in gaza i doubt as they need them to hide behind and use their colateral losses to pressure the other arabs/muslims to side with them. But a long term ceasefire when their ideological stance has always been no negotiation with israel. Nah.
