  1. Yugoslavia was NATO and it was to prevent further ethnic cleansing happening and to bring the later convicted war criminal milosevic to the negotiating table. It brought peace to the region. All the others were part of the 20 year war on terror after sunni islamic fundamentalism groups declared a terror war on western civilisation after 9/11. Just like putin went after the chechnyan rebels after beslan and other terror attacks on his civilians. Unlike ukraine where your master just wants to interfere and destroy their state so as to recreate his beloved soviet empire again.

  2. Intervention in a sunni country harbouring sunni islamic fundamentalist terror groups was always going to happen at some point after one of those groups brought terror to the twin towers. I remember an interview on tv from the 1990s where a muslim lady explained why she thought that the rise of islamic fundamentalism was the biggest threat to world peace at that time and then a few years later the warship cove attack followed by 9/11. Al queda were in iraq. They became ISIS and ISIL when some remnants of saddams military joined them.. In the beginning the allies were treated as liberators. However instead of just replacing saddam with a more friendly option which the state dept favoured bush let defence sec rumsfeld have control. He then disbanded the iraqi police and army and the allies became occupiers instead. Trying to impose democracy i would guess.. Same as later happened in afghan.Thats when the insurgency started and ISIS and ISIL were born out of the chaos that followed. The terror attacks on western civilisation then increased even to countries not involved in the invasion so, imho intervention in the middle east was inevitable. The good news is that the 20 year war on terror seems to have finally been won as no major terror attacks on the west since leaving afghanistan. Obama did say it would take 20 years to win it.
