  1. Its not just about being a beacon for democracy. Its about paying back favours. Like when in the recent past other democracies have lost their military personnel standing by and fighting alongside the US in its support. Ukraine, for example lost 18 of their people between 2003-2008 in iraq fighting the insurgency alongside american troops in the coalition. Until newly elected putin puppet yanukovych unsurprisingly had them brought home..Putin on the other hand was giving military intelligence to saddam pre invasion. My country ,the UK lost many of our brave military too standing by the US during the 20 year war on islamic fundamentalist terror after 9/11. So to all these supposed patriotic magas out there how about returning the favour to ukraine and your allies. Here you dont even have to put american lives at risk in doing so. Being a patriot isnt just about loving your country. Its about loving your country for what it stands for. Which shouldnt be about becoming putins poodle.
