@sandgrownun66 Since when did you speak for all brits. Reform is a minority party. It would be an even smaller one if it didnt have immigration to keep banging on about.

@mrrolight "It was expressly a US thing". Tell that to all the non US victims families and loved ones around the world. Islamic fundamentalist terror was/is a global threat to the democratic west in general. But also in places like russia. Even saddam was hated by al queda. He only allowed them in iraq so they could kill kurds in the north. They were involved and committed terror in many other middle eastern countries too. Still are with hamas.

Tbf starmer did say at his press conference on sunday that he had been assured during his call with trump on the saturday that article 5 was still going to be honoured by the US. That, amongst other assurances, was the reason starmer/europe went ahead with their peace initiative. Starmer said that they would not have gone ahead with it otherwise. He said they needed some kind of US backstop in their plan. Though now trump has suspended all US aid for ukraine i doubt that happening would have been in their thinking for the short term.

@torp7215 "remainers and democrats"....I voted brexit and conservative. But i voted for democratic reasons. Not the far right, cold hearted, selfish nationalist ones you did. By the way i will never vote reform. Will even vote labour to keep you nobodies out.
