@dutube99 ""maintain our democracy" If you dont think thats something to stand up for then thats pretty sad of you.

@dutube99 Yep . Two words sum it up nicely. Civilised behaviour.

UK here watching and praying not just for you in the states but also for democracy and all of its associated freedoms worldwide. A potential putin/trump duo in power is a major threat to the world regarding democracy and civilised behaviour..Both support and promote far right nationalism. Recent history has proven that nationalists just do not do democracy or indeed any kind of civilised behaviour.

@dutube99 Civilised behaviour involves more than manners pal. Ask the ukranians about "strong egotistical leaders", nationalism and uncivilised behaviour because of it.. Im also going to add my reply to julin bashir-8472 here as it keeps getting deleted. No, its about maintaining democracy and civilised behaviour from the GOP under trump, if elected, which has moved to the extreme nationalist far right of the political spectrum. Why do you think maga under trump, parrot and promote putins narrative? Another far right extreme nationalist who used the far right in his country to "take over" democracy there. Whats project 2025 all about then if it isnt threatening democracy? 25K unskilled maga volunteers to replace thousands in the US civil service and legal system. Trump to pass it as soon as elected. Who says so? The heritage foundation. They love trump and trump loves them. Then you got another far right nationalist in orban who is best mates with trump. Then you got trump talking of going after his political opponents if elected. Another putinism. Anti NATO is another. What about all the true conservatives who have abandoned trumps GOP then? How come you cant see what they and i can see? That trump aint no conservative. Keep heading further to the right and you will hit far right nationalism. Thats where trump is taking the US right now. Where the flag is more important than what the country stands for. Recent history has also proven that political extremes never do democracy. As for the democratic process biden won his personal race and then elected a VP and then endorsed her as his replacement. The people then get to say if he was right to do so in november. Seems pretty democratic to me.

@dutube99 This election is about more than party political point scoring. The defence of democracy and all its associated freedoms is far more important. But then again extremists dont care do they?

@JulianBashir-8472 No its about maintaining democracy from a GOP that under trump has moved to the extreme nationalist far right of the political spectrum. Why do you think they support and parrot putin. Another extreme far right nationalist who used the far right there to "take over" his democracy. Trump talks of going after his political opponents if he wins. Same as putin has done in russia. Project 2025? Whats that all about then if it isnt threatening democracy. 25 thousand unskilled maga volunteers to be put into positions of power in the US civil service if trump is elected. So says the heritage foundation themselves. They love trump and trump loves them. As for the democratic process. Biden won his parties race and he elected and then endorsed his VP as his replacement. The people then get the right to vote on if he was correct to do so in november. Seems pretty democratic to me.

@ShebaRomanFilms Nah. Dementia is cruel and making hin suffer the cruelty thrown at him because of it is the real cruel. I lost my father to a severe form of dementia, alzheimers. It took just 2 years for him to go from normal to vegetable. Not saying hes got that but there are signs there. He needs to be with his family now. Not under continual pressure and scrutiny.
