@bigallabowski8235 Putin has been poking ukraine since he came to power.22 years ago. First with his puppet yanukovych and then militarily. Secondly with his state tv propaganda broadcasting to all those ethnic russian border areas since he came to power influencing politically and creating the ethnic division required. 92% voted in favour during ukraines independance referendum in 1991. All the oblasts voted in favour including crimea and the donbas. Putin has never recognised that vote and he has been poking/interfering/invading ukraine ever since. Surprising you dont know this as you insinuate you have a full understanding of the geo politics leading up to this conflict.
