Yeh dont lose sight of motives, like believing in what your country stands for. Democracy and the freedoms that go with it. Tories believe in that too as well you know. Patriotism isnt a socialism thing.

@Alliviivi Iraq/afghanistan etc was to combatt the rise of islamic fundamentalism after 9/11. No recent major terrorist attacks so they succeeded in making many friends with all the enemies of terrorism.

@morganmcdonagh2663 Did the fighting include killing civilians too. As i met one of the 2 men killed a week before the london docklands bombing. I actually parked my van in the same loading bay as the truck bomb. I bought a bottle of water from him in a newspaper kiosk opposite surrey quays station. Apparently they both owned the kiosk and were shutting it up when it went off.
