@Robespierre-II They were de politicised and incorporated into the ukranian professional army long ago. They were a private militia raised at the time after maidan, amongst many, to help the ukranian army put down the putin inspired rebellion in the east. It was raised and commanded by a far right politician who was removed from command. He actually stood in the last ukranian election and like the far right in general got knowhere. Some of those far right members stayed in the unit tho. Though their command was taken over by the professional ukranian army. So these command guys may not be the "nazis" that people claim them to be.

@KevinWarburton-tv2iy Well done mate. Much more info there than i knew . Thanks for increasing my knowledge of them. Just to add that their former neo nazi commander who raised them as a militia. Stood in ukraines last election and just like the far right parties in general he got knowhere. Only 2% voted far right with no mps elected. Far less than other democracies.
