War could have been avoided if putin wasnt an imperialist trying to rebuild an empire.
53
Their of fighting age. They would be stopped every 5 secs if they didnt have some kind of ukraine recognition on them.

@johnboughen3064 Martial law during wartime especially when being invaded is common practice. Ever heard of refugees? Its the men who generally fight the wars. Its also not fair on those, and their loved ones, that risk and lose their lives whilst selfish others flee .
7
@jklmn101 Exactly. Millions of rubles worth of equipment gone and an estimated 70k plus troops lost. Note all the artilery systems they are targetting too at the moment. The boxing equivalent is to rope a dope. Tire and drain your opponents strength and then counter punch hard.
7
@Mccormick2023 In 1991, 92% voted in favour of ukraines independance. All the regions voted in favour including the donbas region and crimea. Since putin came to power his one aim has been to return ukraine under russian control. Politically through yanukovych and now militarily when that failed. His state fundede tv/radio has been broadcast to all those border areas since he came to power. No doubt creating the ethnic and political division he needed to fulfill his ultimate aim. Which is to recreate a soviet style russian empire once again. A greater russian world as he calls it.

I believe zelensky wants to save the youth of his country. As they are the ones who will have to rebuild the nation when this is over. Whether he can maintain that position with such a large frontline to control is another matter.
6
Iis not absurd if its your country and your people thats being killed. After being invaded illegally for no good reason.
6
@chrisdelaplante5515 In former yugoslavia nato intervened to prevent further genocide by the serbian military on bosnian muslims. The srebenica massacre the start of their actions. Milosevic, karodic and mlatic all convicted later at the hague for genocide. The UN refusing to intervene militarily probably because russia and china used their veto as per usual. Iraq and libya was part of the 20 year war on terror after 9/11. The US did not act alone in any of these actions. No territory was ever annexed unlike in putins illegal invasion of ukraine.
5
Googled who provides the most humanitarian aid to the world. Characteristic Aid (in million U.S. dollars) United States 8,278.8 Germany 1,844.5 European Commission 1,557 United Kingdom 840.7
5
@Punk1984Rock Just shows how laughable american politics now is.
5
No. Why would they have weapons. They are of fighting age so to prevent being stopped every 5 mins they wear some ukranian identity.
5
@dwilson57 Afghanistan and iraq were part of the 20 year "war on terror" which has been won as no major terror attacks on western civilisation since leaving afghanistan. Thats not being disinterested. Democratic south korea came out of the korean war. Thats not being disinterested. Vietnam was similar to korea and this time they did lose interest in the end tho losing 60k of its military personnel was a pretty good reason for it.
5
How is annexing another nations territory defending yourself.
5
Yep Z for zombies
5
Yes they are a "humanitarian group". Dictionary description of humanitarian. "Concerned with or seeking to promote human welfare". Or adjective "groups sending humanitarian aid"
5
Bucha and various other locations. They also shoot their own at times too apparently. If they shoot their own then it seems highly likely they will do the same or similar to their enemies.
4
@Kratatch "Russian trolls will try to weaponize it".....Just like your doing now.
4
"our very own jailed journalist"....hes an australian isnt he?
3
Nah. Total opposite. I love living in a democracy where we are allowed to critisise whoever and vote for whoever unlike in putins russia or in hamas controlled gaza, that galloway preaches for by the way
3
@max20817 USA isnt the victim here. Guantanamo was also a terrorist detention centre as opposed to a ukrainian civilian torture centre. Guantanamo was a result of islamic fundamentalists declaring a terror war on the west with 9/11. Al queda and ISIS are not countries and their "citizens" do not act like civilised citizens so when captured they needed to be detained somewhere. The torture was wrong and was rightly criticised in the western media. Obama won an election promising to end the detentions but even he was unable to close it fully as the inmates were far to dangerous to release. The torture accusations also making it harder to prosecute. Is putin likely to hold enquiries into all of his tortures, murders and war crimes? Is his media? I think not.
3
@bobbie2005 It wasnt on behalf of the regime. It was anarchy. Thats what anarchy looks like. It was on behalf of nationalism tho. Both sides of it. Russian and ukranian. Thats why peaceful democracy is a much better ideology than the nationalism/fascism that putin represents. Yes ukraine has nationalists. So has every country. The last ukraine election just 2% voted far right with no mps elected. Far less than other western democracies. Zelenskys party is centrish and poroshenkos to the left.
3
Thats the guy who tries to avoid trial by jumping bail and heading straight to the veneuzalan embassy innit. How about he just stands trial and fights his case if he is so innocent and believes in democracy and the right to a fair trial. Maybe he isnt too keen on democracy?
3
@sylviahutchison5203 And remember what the people of europe went through in 1939, the last time imperial fascism raised its ugly head.
3
@moonshine9902 Since when has the uk been sending billions to israel? We send aid to gaza dont we. 80 odd million according to google. We do trade/export/import with israel, but so does everybody else so where are these "billions" coming from?
3
Its russification.
3
Has no desire for war yet spends 8 years building up his military and then invades his neighbour
3
Corrupt capitalist goes to interview another corrupt capitalist in a corrupt capitalist country.
3
My mum thinks its just fine actually.
3
@ameleon2515His point is hes a paid putin troll. Seen him before spouting pro putin lying bollox
3
To be fair to NATO yanukovych came to power 2 years after that 2008 promise was given and he scrapped the NATO application immediately. Though it still doesnt excuse france/germany vetoeing the original ukraine/georgia NATO bid in 2008 for a more economically friendly relationship with putin instead. No doubt putin was demanding no NATO for ukraine in exchange.
3
@AaronBr00mfie7d They could do both if certain far right us polticians and a certain presidential wannabee wanted to. Why? Cuz its civilised behaviour to support your allies and friends.
2
Yep thats the MSM from the left, right and centre moderate political platforms. So where does that leave carlson then? Far right nationalist interviews far right nationalist shock.
2
@debarshiroy464 My recent memory is of india descending into nationalist/fascist ideology under modi. Bye bye democracy.
2
Congrats on the 233k views. Congrats also for attracting so many putin trolls due to the 233k views. Putin propaganda.......Anything thats anti putin and its popular.........Right hit it with the usual lying, rambling misspelling bollox......The telegraph......Truth in a two fingered, up yours putin, churchillian style.
2
Are the irish nationalist movement still being funded and supported by putin. Same as the SNP in scotland. Funny how both salmond and galloway were star turns on RT.
2
tbh better being cancelled than thrown out of windows
2
@OzzyBloke The 3 (of the 13) points in the 2014 minsk peace agreement putin refused to recognise. 4. To start a dialogue on interim self-government for the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, in accordance with Ukrainian law, and acknowledge their special status by parliamentary resolution. 9. Restoration of full control of the state border by the government of Ukraine. 10. Withdrawal of all foreign armed formations, military equipment and mercenaries. Plus the biggest peace deal game breaker of course......invading the very nation the peace deal was with, and with it a UN recognised sovereign nation. Try keep up
2
Yep deffo targetted. This channel never usually gets this number of views and bollox comments.
2
They are still beating russia as they still exist as an independant sovereign democratic country. Putins original invasion goal was, and probably still is, to end all of that.
2
@erinbecker2861 At least he supports democracy unlike others in US politics these days.
2
@superoldgamesaturday3277 And get anti democratic selfish nationalism in
2
Facts are always necessary. True journalism doesnt involve repeating propaganda that can be easily proved untruthful.
2
That is for the ukranian courts to decide not some random comment on here.
2
@AcuteTomato Putin propagandist, surely?
2
@daydays12 He did win an election as a 76yo in 1950 tho and carried on the NHS project that labour had just previously started. He retired in 1955 after suffering 2 strokes apparently. Probably due to all the hard drinking and cigar puffing he was into.
2
The british never invaded ukraine tho did they or am i missing something
2
Putin has no humanity, never mind honour plus he has plenty of dishonourable paid trolls too. 1.5 billion usd a year on propaganda. Been tripled in the last year too. Paying for all your overtime no doubt.
2
Try sending an email to the kremlin then.
2
Glory to imperial fascism then. The last time it happened in europe. 50 million died worldwide. What glory?
2
