@robertsteele474 He is being held because he chooses to fight extradition to the US "democracy" on espionage charges against a western "democracy". He also jumped bail for 7 years hiding in the anti western/"democracy" equadorian embassy as well. Anybody would think he got something against western style democracies and all its associated freedoms including the right to a fair trial? Maybe he ought to buy a one way ticket to putins russia where fair trials dont exist but they would reward him handsomely all the same for all the juicy wikileak stuff he leaked. Same as snowden has been rewarded for all his juicy intel leaked. Or maybe, for once, he showed some respect for democracy and stood up in a court and proved his innocence instead of repeatedly running away from it.
