The last year proves they were right to be scared and correct in applying and then joining NATO. Responding to requests is not expanionism whereas invading a neighbouring one for imperialistic aims is. Also these atrocities zelensky is supposed to have been committing. You do realise there were UN monitors present those 8 years who never noticed any of these genocide claims putin used to justify the invasion.

Remembering that un professional militias were operating on both sides at the time.
