I remember peter tatchell speaking in favour of it on a channel 4 tv special debate about it 20 odd years ago. As well as his and others on the political left with their involvement and support for "PIE" paedophile information exchange in the late 70s. The founders of that organisation were a couple of gays from scotland. Tbf i have seen gays online openly criticising a part of gay culture which was encouraging the targetting of youth.
