Jakes been talking down putin/russian supporting US politicians for well over a year now since maga started with their continual repeating of putins propaganda narratives. He said ages ago that he would go after anyone who doesnt support ukraine and democracy in general. Whether they be from the political left or right.

From a UK conservative voter i think you need to look at how trump and maga have taken over the GOP. You have virtually only 2 parties in US politics. So you get all the political extremes thrown into one party or the other. The extremes are also always the ones who campaign, lobby and work the hardest. Hence the sudden rise of maga within the GOP. And historically the extremes dont usually favour democracy. Thats the danger now with trump and maga. Project 2025 for example. Beware far right nationalists posing as true conservtives. The ideology of democracy and all its associated freedoms must always come before individual politics imho. Anyway good luck with your vote and good luck to your country with the outcome..Hopefully its the right one for democracy.
