I still think the trump mineral deal might still be on in some way. Starmer contacted trump on saturday and he is now proceeding with some kind of peace deal with ukraines other allies during an emergency summit in london on sunday. Zelenskyy attended as well..When asked about trumps backing for the deal starmer stated that they wouldnt have started the process otherwise. He also said that it needed some kind of US involvement as a back up. Which is where the mineral deal might come into play? He also said they were looking for other countries to contribute to boots on the ground and planes in the air in ukraine. As peacekeepers and as a security guarantee for ukraine. The UK and france have already said they will do so. This maybe why zelenskyy was saying in that interview you showed about building a NATO from within his borders. All this might be why trump has been silent about it all since friday. Whether putin would agree to all this though is the big question?
