@marymatlock7730 He may be one journalist but he is also a big player in the US poltical sphere on the right. His show regularly had 3 million views. He influences the anti ukraine position that some republicans on the right follow. The US is ukraines biggest backer. Thats why it affects ukraine. Jake has stated in the past that he goes after anybody who parrots putin narrative regardless of their politics. As like me he sees a threat not just to ukraine but to democracy in general. Which is above the politics of left and right.

Not an american war. Just what a far right nationalist would say. Putins a far right nationalist you know.
2
So? jake is an american and he has an opinion on carlson.
2
@Noviomagus024 Yep tucker is entitled to his public opinion and so is the rest of us on him
2
Then you take your green goggles off and realise that you just spouted lying propaganda about another talkin truth..
2
Such a good journalist never condemning putin. Putin thinks hes the absolute best journalist in his mind too.
1
@ChucksSEADnDEAD Yep reported with glee that the casualty figures were 7 to 1 in favour of russia.

Thats the problem with the states. Youve only got 2 parties so all the extremists get lumped into one party or the other. And the extremists are always the most vocal and active. We aint got that problem here in the UK. Extremists are kicked out of mainstream parties as the parties need to be more moderate and near the centre ground to get elected. They usually end up in small parties where we can all ignore them lol. Hope you can find a way to vote somehow and the GOP regain its former moderate conservatism..

"The Russian Federation launches rocket attacks on houses with sleeping people, continues to carry out terrorist activities, BUT at the same time it chairs the UN Security Council."..................Agreed the UN and its security council is a joke..............Согласен ООН и ее совет безопасности это шутка.

US poltics affects ukraine.
1
I think some republicans refuse to agree with anything the democrats do. Whether its right to do so or not. The enemy of my enemy is my friend so to speak.

He was duped, like many political types from both left and right tbf, by putins RT narrative after 2014. Many still are unfortunately. From the left nearly all support ukraine now, tho supported putin pre invasion because of RTs anti american/western imperial narrative. Remembering that RT is more subtle in its propaganda than the hardcore putin state tv/radio stuff. From the rights perspective in the US they jumped on the pro russia/anti biden laptop stuff and took it on from there really. Carlson himself said in a program in 2019 that he supported putins propaganda narrative that ukraine was not worthy of support. Ukraine was, and at times by some, still being used as a means to bash biden and of course to promote trumps america only nationalist perspective. Carlson has gone more on the fence since the invasion, like fox. but hasnt to my knowledge publicly condemned what is happening in ukraine. Rarely, like fox news, has he done anything about ukraine. Seems like its a step too far to have too agree with a democrat political position despite it relating to an ideology that his country supposedly reveres. Albeit in a far off country. Its also sad and ironic in a way. Sad that some americans can support the same imperialistic far right ideology that ended the lives of so many americans in europe 80 odd years ago. Its also sadly ironic that millions died in russia fighting that very same ideology that they have become themselves today.
1
Tucker carlson show was getting about regular 3 milion views. It seems a lot but the US population is 330 odd million so we shouldnt over rate him. If you compare it to the last ukraine election were the far right got just 2% in their election then that 3 million is the sort of viewing figures you would expect a far right programme to get. Of course the US elections are different to other democracies tho as they only have 2 parties so poltical extremes on both sides all get lumped in together.
1
Hes one person mate. Not a news network.
1
@Tuberuser187 Or he is one person trying to do the work of many on the one subject that is relevent to him. It is also common practice of propagandists to rubbish the channels of opponents when they can no longer win their argument. Like dehumanising them.
1
Thats just what a far right nationalist would say. Or for balance a far left extremist would say the same thing too when looking to gain power. To discredit the ideology that keeps then from power. Also when you discredit democracy like you just have, you also discredit the 330 milion people or so that voted in that democracy too. Just because somebody says "This war would not have happened if I were President" means its gonna happen. Im afraid putins imperialist ambitions doesnt extend to pandering to trump tho im sure he sees plenty in there he likes just like he sees in your mate tucker. Nationalists love nationalists. Especially the cold hearted selfish ones.
1
Hello wakey wakey. Europe is supporting ukraine as well. "Ukraine is europes obligation". Well after 9/11 the war on terror was americas obligation but plenty of europeans died fighting that terror alongside americans dont you think.? But of course you being a selfish, cold hearted, america first, nationalist that thought will probably fly right over your head.
1
I would expect a putin troll to not trust zelensky so good on you for proving that you are a complete and utter nobody just doin what yer master bids..
1
Bye....... Far right nationalists would think tucker is doing an outstanding job. Putin is a far right nationalist and he totally agrees with you
1
You certainly are. Thanks for your support of ukraine by commenting and helping the algorithm attract more to the channel.
1
You seem more concerned about poor little tucker carlson than you do about all the death and misery in ukraine. Thats nationalism to a tee. Selfishness. My country first and foremost especially those that push that narrative. Supporting ukraine is not about politics. Its about supporting democracy. In every other democracy the moderate left and right have come together on ukraine. Maybe in the states there is an element that isnt so moderate.
1
Dude, i appreciate, hopefully, your support for ukraine but i must address your belittling of this channels creator. He has stated many times that he is not being political when he criticises putin sympathisers. I am the same with lefties in the uk who have appeared on RT in the past. This is about democracy v putins imperial nationalist/fascist/communist oligarch mixed evil shit. Whether your from the left or the right it doesnt matter. Your gonna get verbally bashed on here and rightly so.
1
She sounds like an ack ack gun from WW2.
1
@DonpsnNetdundon "truth"? Agree with the rest tho.
1
I think youve conveniently forgotten about the last 8 years or so where your hero has rubbished ukraines attempt at democracy and the west/americas help in aiding it. Not even condemning putin after the invasion. Preferring to stay on the fence. Just what putin wants. No western aid to ukraine.
1
1. Why didnt he hold putin accountable then? And these other "powerful accountable" you speak of. They are already accountable. Ever heard of democracy? Holding the powerful to account should also mean holding both sides to account if you want to claim some kind of moral high ground for him. Im not american but from the outside it looks to me like the GOP is being targetted by the far right. Putin loves far right nationalism too. Hopefully moderate conservatives in the states will keep control of their party.
1
Nah you aint no conservative. True conservatives respect democracy and would fight tooth and nail to protect it wherever it is. Especially as it doesnt involve losing american lives.
1
IDEOLOGY Does he believe in democracy or not? Putin doesnt.
1
@patrickmatlock7086 Why did fox and carlson hardly ever mention ukraine then?. Fox news last time i checked on their YT vids they had nothing on ukraine at all. Never mind condemning putins obvious imperialism. Thats the problem with him and fox. They hate democrats so much that they just cannot allow themselves to agree with them on anything. Even when it come to ukraine/democracy v putins russia/imperial nationalism, fascism, communism whatever the shit is he fronts. Him and fox have been parroting too much the more subtle RT pro nationalist narrative that putins worldwide propaganda promotes. Thats why they love him so much.
1
@greengoggles You certainly are
1
@dougalmaguire2357 Since when you begin reading minds? Guess what my mind is thinkin at the moment? ........Begins with a T and ends with an L.
1
Your correct it isnt propaganda. Thanks for your support of ukraine and democracy lmao back at you
1
Since when has someone defending democracy and all of its associated freedoms been propaganda? Especially as one of those freedoms is freedom of speech. Whereas on the other side of the fence in putinopia you have the direct opposite including state funded propaganda where dissent of the putin narrative is punishable.
1
No it wasnt. It was part of the 20 year "war on terror" in the middle east. Iraq ,syria, libya and afghanistan. Sunni islamic fundamentalist terror groups declaring a terror war on western civilisation after 9/11. The allies have won it now as there have been no major terror attacks on the west since leaving afghan. Obama said it would take 20 years to win it. However project impose democracy did fail in afghanistan tho there is a form of it in iraq which might improve over time.
1
@DonpsnNetdundon Thats typical of the putin propaganda narrative that carlson parroted. Real reasons for maidan..... Ukraine voted 92% to be independant from a union with russia in 1991. With all the oblasts voting in favour including the donbas and crimea. In 2013 putin puppet yanukovych scrapped a potential union with the EU for one with the very country they voted to leave in 1991.. Whilst also jailing his main political opponent yulia tymoshenko.. In 2004 , another maidan had previously occured, with an orange revolution, against that same elected puppet yanukovych. Tho this time for "voting corruption", which was later proved true, as his "poisoned" opponent won the rerun comfortably.. Maidan began peacefully at first but then violence was used againt protestors and it escalated until yanukovych ordered his berkut special police unit to shoot unarmed protestors. 120 died and thousands were injured. No way could he survive that bloodbath. Evidence was later found in his abandoned palace of voting corruption casting doubt on his earlier close election win in 2010....... .Were biden, mccain and america involved back in 2004 as well?... I tell you who has been interfering all along in ukraine and thats the little dicktator putin as he never recognised that 1991 vote. Despite all the world nations recognising ukraine as an independant sovereign state, included russia. He had been bombarding ukraines ethnic russian border areas with his state tv propaganda since he came to power. No doubt creating the ethnic and political division in ukraine to garner support for this whole "greater russian world" imperialist project of his. Now culminating in an actual military invasion and annexationof territory.
1
Or the outing of putin sympathisers.
1
Finally a true conservative. Well done mate. From a uk conservative.
1
@vonmajor Well do you want him to be a putin mouthpiece instead then? Its ukraine/democracy v putins imperial nationalism, fascism, communism, whatever this evil shit is that he fronts. So you take sides. Jake has taken his side of the fence. Pity some like carlson chose to sit on the other side or more lately sit on the fence which is exactly what putin wants from the west. To not be involved.. For example go to fox news content and find any content on ukraine. Never mind condemning putins actions. It seems to me as an outsider looking in that some republicans hate democrats so much that no way they can agree with anything the democrats say or do. Even if its just to support the principle of democracy As for corruption in ukraine. You do realise that ukraine has been russified by russia since stalins time and throughout the soviet era. Its whole culture has been taken over. Including the oligarch culture that thrived in russia and is now like a mafia around putin. It will take time for ukraine to de russify itself. Both poroshenko and zelensky were elected on anti corruption ticklets. It takes decades for democracies to evolve for the better. Joining the EU with its rules and laws should help with that. A lot of the conflicts and regime changes over the last 20 years have been the "war on terror" after 9/11. Sunni islamic fundamentalist terror groups declaring a war on western civilisation. The west responded not just the states. That war has been won now as no major terror attacks on the west since afghan. Obama said it would take 20 years to win it.

@anniethemese1215 So what is on the other side of your supposed soft care propaganda fence then? Tis state funded to the tune of 1.5 billion usd/112 billion rubles a year. Been tripled since the invasion. Half of it goes on russian state tv/radio and RT and its more subtle worldwide propaganda. Of which tucker and many other political figures have fallen for tbf. Ex uk labour leader corbyn has been on RT. Ex SNP leader alec salmond was actually hosting a show on it the day of the invasion. Being left wing they probably liked the anti american imperialism reported. Maybe they liked the old soviet red flag often seen being waved in association with russia these days too.
