There is a reason putin has tried to buddy up with him in the past. Just like his political propaganda RT etc has been courting and supporting nationalism in the west over the past 20 years. Trump also keeps showing the nationalist side of his character by continually questioning the decision of the people to not re elect him. Just like nationalist putin and far left ideologies too tbf. They all hate democracy. They all want the power to control rather than be controlled by the people.
