I left twatter long ago. From memory it was flooded with left wing narrative and memes. From a UK political perspective. It felt a bit like an echo chamber . He has said from the very beginning that he will go after any politician or celebrity, whatever their politics, if they support putin . He has praised republicans when they support ukraine. This is not about the left or the right, republican or democrat, labour or conservative. Its above all that. Its about supporting democracy and all its associated freedoms including aiding fellow democratic nations. As for all the other things you mention dont you realise that there are other nations out here with those same problems. There is a worldwide recession on after a worldwide pandemic. Illegal immigration is not just happening in the states either. Most of africa is trying to get into europe as well. Also the people jake are going after are not just wanting a cut in overseas aid that you would prefer but a complete end to it. Finally i will say that i believe that your essay is way over the top in what is really happening in the states snd is more due to the usual nationalist mantra which is america first and F everyone else. Did you know ukranian soldiers were part of the allied coalition in iraq 2003 till 2009 then putin puppet yanukovych stopped it. Mainly used in a peacekeeping role but they did have to fight insurgents there. They lost 18 killed. Maybe some americans need reminding of this. Putins russia apparently was giving intelligence to saddam hussein. All according to wiki.

If it is so poor then why are so many people trying to get in? Despite a world recession, after a world pandemic to go along with some stupid old man in europe invading his neighbour for imperial purposes.The only people who should decide if the war can ever be won or lost are the ukranian people. They are the ones who have been invaded, had their territory annexed and their citizens including kids either been killed or taken captive. I dont know why people complain about what the US has done in the past strategically. Through the cold war years fighting communist expansion into democratic nations or after 9/11 fighting islamic fundamentalist terror for 20 odd years. Some of the warfare methods used and individual actions should rightly be criticised but not the overall strategic purpose. Most of these conflicts have been fought in coalitions with many other nations, so to criticise the US on its own is unfair.

Now its just about saving face and annexing as much territory as possible before a peace deal. Which he is now pushing for through his propaganda narrative from which his western proxies, like carlson and others, replicate to their audience for him. RT was banned for disinformation and part of the sanctions on putins russia and yet RT narrative is still available through other disinformation channels it seems.

What about the that "right to bear arms" association. Is it the NRA? I remember putin trying to get influence/contact to trump through them before he was elected last time. Nothing against their "right to bear arms" just that a rival state shouldnt be able to influence the POTS through them. If i remember correctly a female russian agent was jailed for being part of the attempt which involved sleeping with somebody 3 times her age. He was in a position of influence. Marina butina was her name. She has now been rewarded, as always with putins proxies, a position on russian state funded propaganda tv.

We have issues with immigration control as well, same as most othe european countries ever since merkel invited most of africa to emigrate to her country. As for the cost of living there is a worldwide recession so again you are not alone. Ukranians have all that plus an imperialist neighbouring dictator attempting to deny them their freedom and independance. They are willing to give their lives just so they can enjoy some of our freedoms. They are suffering far more than a visit to dollar general, whatever that is, and prices at a gas station. Which to my knowledge is always rising anyway due to inflation.

Thats the trouble with only 2 parties, all the extremes to the left or right, all get lumped into one party or the other. Here in the UK we got loads of parties so all the extreme parties we can ignore come election time. Whoever wins usually has to move more into the moderate centre ground to get elected.

Go and ask ukranians if it makes a difference. There the ones dying here . Not you. Whilst your there ask ukranians why its a good thing to fight and die for their independance and freedom from putin rule. Dont forget they didnt ask for this war. It was thrust upon them. 58 million died worldwide the last time this happened 80 odd years ago. If people hadnt fought and died back then for all our freedoms today then we would all be under autocratic and state control now. Lest we forget. Hitler and putin are no different apart from the modern day influence of nuclear weapons and geopolitics.
