  2.  @kissandjerr886  The russification of ukranian culture including language been going on since stalin, WW2 and through the soviet era with kruhschov and brehznev. Even after 1991 the russian influence was there. Putin tried to use it through yanukovych etc to keep ukraine under russian control just like he does with belorus.
