Its a nations right to self defence. If one nation is firing rockets indiscriminately at another nations civilians then they have the right to retaliate with a strike at where those rockets came from. Putin completely flattened grosny when chechnyan rebels used terrorism against his civilians. Nobody raised an eyebrow at that. Palestine has been a member of the ICC since 2015 and yet no charges have yet been brought against israel. Maybe because firing rockets indiscriminately into civilian areas is also a war crime. Executing civilians at short range most certainly is a war crime. As is the taking of hostages. So i doubt the ICC would be interested at all now in investigating crimes against humanity if this jihaddish run palestine came a calling. Also history is ever changing. The only history that matters is the history that is happpening right now. Also the UN is not some kind of nuetral judge in matters. It is deeply poltical with so many different ideologies and political and religious narratives present. Some good, some evil but always extremely selfish and insincere in their actions. No way can that organisation be a judge of any kind.
