They have also won 3 wars after being invaded 3 times to drive them into the sea..The territory they gained due to that shouldnt be ignored either. Most has been given away to secure peaceful relations with its former invaders.

In wars civilians are always the ones who suffer the most. Thats why most civilised countries try to avoid them at all cost. So i wonder who started this one? I wonder if one of the parties involved might have invaded the other and then mass murdered 1200+ civilians and took 200+ hostages. I wonder if that might have had something to do with it? Plus the ratio of colateral damage to both parties the hamas propagandist mentions here is due to israel having the iron dome otherwise they would be suffering just as many civilian casualties, if not more. As hamas has been indiscriminately firing thousands of its rockets at civilian targets as opposed to israel targetting the launch sites and other military targets. Tho unfortunately in densely populated urban areas colateral civilian losses are bound to be high. They have given warnings and are now sacrificing their own troops in a land invasion to try and limit the civilian casualties. Maybe if hamas had stopped firing its rockets then israel might just have stopped firing theirs. Then again do hamas want this to end? Those demonstrators banners call for muslim armies to liberate palestine. So this whole bloodbath seems to be hamas and its supporters way to try and draw other muslim/arab nations into this holy jihad of theirs. Which isnt a peaceful negotiated 2 state solution but the complate destruction of israel from the river to the sea. With seemingly the ethnic cleansing of all jews in the region as well judging by october 7th.

It was the UN who actually divided the territory tho in 1948. Both the jewish and arab populations had grown in the region previously due to immigration. Jews for the jewish state and arab immigrant workers. Who moved to the region to work on the infrastructure projects for the british and french empires. In palestine 1914 jews numbered 94k and muslims numbered 525k. By 1947 jews numbered 630k and muslims 1181k. There was also a sizeable rise in the christian population as well. From wiki.

Or whatabout the 2002 passsover suicide bombing massacre that hamas committed the day after the arab leagues peace initiative which unsurprisingly scuppered it. Or their terrorism in the 90s which derailed the oslo accord peace plan.

7000 kids over and over. Thats the hamas mantra. Build up the hatred for jews and get those "muslim armies" to join in with their holy jihad. Oh and not forgetting getting the anti semitism figure in london to rise even further from its current 1350%.

@neonflux665 Its a democracy. Lots from the left who opposed him got massacred at that music festival. People will generally vote for more national security actions and hardline polticians if they feel threatened.

@jamessmith4843 Its not what he said, which was wahat hamas would want him to say anyway...7000 kids over and over etc, it was what he didnt say. Even corbyn has now said that hamas is a terrorist organisation.

@nadakbar Or it took hamas and its anti zionist supporters 26 years since its inception to realise that by forcing israel into a retaliatory war they could then use the more potent weapon of colateral propaganda to draw other muslim/arab nations into the war alongside them. Also hamas, palestinian islamic jihad and the popular front for the liberation of palestine terror groups caused all the checkpoints, fences, walls and tight security due to their suicide bombing campaign in the 2000s. There was still 21k in gaza with permits who worked in israel tho. Some of those are now being blamed for giving info to help the 7th october attack.
