Just 2% voted far right in ukraines last election with no mp elected. Far less than most western countries. Poroshenkos party is leftish i believe and zelenskys centrish. Azov has now been brought under the control of the ukranian army and its former far right leader stood in those elections and also did zilch.

@nilslarson7532 Because they are a new country deperately searching for national heroes to help unite it around. However, they are worshipped by some as ukrainian freedom fighters but despised by others for horrific atrocities committed. There will be much better ones for them to choose from when this is over and they hopefully survive.

@jakeavakov5230 Or maybe he was trying to manipulate them just like putin. Nemtsov before being murdered still called him the best hope for change in russia.

@Food4thought2023 Well "wise one" things do change like azov now being controlled by the ukranian military Plus like a true wise one mr perry states, far right parties got just 2% in ukraines election with no mp elected. Furthermore the former head of azov stood in that election and also did zilch. Also oh "wise one" the country azov fights for has been invaded by a country with the same ideology as the real nazis. Only one country is having its civilians killed and cities, towns and villages flattened here oh "wise one"..............NOT.

@patriotswars5110 iraq afghanistan was the war on terror after 9/11 you doughnut. islamic fundamentalist groups declared a terror war on the west. The west fights back and wins as we havnt had any major terror attacks since afghanistan. National security and protecting your citizens is morality.

I cant find anything about him being a neo nazi member. He was supporting nationalism though. So was alexander solzhenitzyn when he returned to russia. Soltzhenitzyn also supported putins view of this "greater russian world" and so not recognising ukraines independance. So widespread nationalism was rife to be manipulated by putin at that time. Maybe also by navalny later. Navalnys main aim from what i can make out seems to be on anti corruption. Targetting putin in particular. Few dissidents are politically or morally pure. Sometimes you do what you need to do, to achieve the end goal. Mandela did so encouraging and committing ,what were at the time, considered terror attacks.

@pauldoporto6811 Spot on mate. Bandera is prob not the best national hero but they are a very young country and at the moment have few national heroes that can unite them over independance. They will have many better options im sure when this is all over and they hopefully survive as an independant free country.

Nationalism.....strong leader......dictator.......constitution change.......oppression....fascism......lost empire......imperialism....putins russia

If he has done this then he sees you as much of a threat to his power as all the non radical parties/figures he has banned or silenced. He promotes nationalism worldwide. I see it every time i fight a putin troll online who is not russian. Americans, canadians, indians, hungarians etc. Their all represented. His most potent weapon is propaganda. State and worldwide. Since he came to power, in the early 2000s spreading and promoting nationalism from which he manipulates for his own ends. Using it to cause division and hate in the ethnic russian border areas of ukraine. Maybe he went after your lot as it was at the same time that his main opponent navalny was getting into bed with you? Whatever i think vice got it pretty much right. Putins russia is very much a fascist/nationalist imperialist state now. With some strains of the old USSR in there as well with this "greater russian world".

@Snarkonymous Maybe a certain pandemic had something to do with it Its not just the uk suffering economically at the moment. Plus you got a war in the middle of europe affecting a continents energy needs happening right after. A perfect storm.

@granoso3903 The western media has left, centre and right poitical viewpoints so checks and balances. Putins media is putins media.

@midwestnet2704 Well im a conservative and carlson is a nationalist sheepie and can get lost.

@ZAPPED916 Well he is progressive enough to say that he supports putin. If thats progressive then i need backward thinking people instead.

When fascism got involved as fascism dont do independant journalism.

No they did a video about a far right group. Not a large white nationalist population. They could easily do a vid about similar groups in many other western countries as well as putinland if they were allowed to. But putinland is in fascist lockdown at the moment. Everybody has become a nobody amongst nobodies doing as their master bids just like all the putin sheepies in this comment section.
