@RussTillling The EU is also an institution of which many europeans are happy to live under. As it helps them to build up their own economies and through that their own democracies. Which is good for europe as a whole. I voted brexit as there is a democratic deficit with the the unelected EU commission but i still respect the european countries and their populations choice to remain involved in it. In fact putin is making the EU/NATO more relevent as europe needs to stand together against militant nationalism raising its ugly head in europe again after hitler and WW2. NATO/EU are both good ways to do that.

@Prof.Pwnalot You dont have to be a former pm to be leader of nato. A former uk labour government departmental minister george robertson was once a leader of NATO. He was the guy who putin asked personally if russia could join nato. When he replied that russia would have to pass all the usual criteria about being free and democratic etc putin ended the conversation by saying that russia was far to big and powerful to have to comply with such trivia. Or something along those lines.

@alexturayev3402 That was the 20 year"war on terror" after sunni islamic fundamentalist terror groups declared a terror war on western civilisation after 9/11. Al queda were in all those sunni led countries even morphing into isis/isil in iraq. Obama said it would take 20 years to win it and now 20 odd years later with o major terror attacks on the west since leaving afghanistan that war has finally been won. Putin also did the same thing to the chechnyan rebels after beslan and other terror attaqcks on his civilian population. Tho far more brutally. Its called national security or the protection of your citizens. However the western allies did have a legitimate reason for invading iraq and did not stay or annex territory. Which putin is doing to a sovereign UN recognised state. As well as invading for obvious made up reasons. So as to legitimise the real reason which is to recreate a lost soviet/russian empire again.

Ah the good old st petersburg state funded troll farm

"Russia wants peace" whilst at the same time invading an independant UN rcognised sovereign state.Whilst also regularly committing war crimes and its leader being charged by the hague for ethnic cleansing/ assisting with the abduction of another nations children. Finland is also now a free and democratic nation so its people are now free to choose their own way in the world unlike in putinopia.

Modis indian nationalist propaganda is just as anti western and nationalist as putins. Plus they have zillions of call centre staff with access to internet to target main western news channels like this one. Funny how they only seem to post and flood the ones putin would want targetted. CNN and the BBC for example.

Ever heard of 9/11? Ever heard of islamic fundamentalist terrorism?

Sweden and finland are joining nato to prevent putin invading them. Georgia/ukraine neither in nato and both invaded. Why do you support putins imperial nationalism? Why are you against democracy and for the people to control who governs them? Why are you against 140 nations of the world who condemn putins invasion?

I see putin has outsourced his propaganda to asia. At least asian call centres wont be scamming for a while.

@isais207 Their state funded troll farms are always targetting cnn and other main US news outlets

@matthewmortensen5065 Yep and joining nato means they got nukes covering their back as well now.

Cuba missile crisis was actually in the 60s. The cold war ended in 1990 with democracy slaying communism. Now its a new cold war where the new enemy is putins militant nationalism. Funny how its russia that doesnt want military assets on its border. How about its neighbours not wanting russian military assets on its borders actually invading them. Like in non nato georgia and twice now in ukraine.

So you love imperial fascism? Are you misguided or just naturally evil?.
