@Jarhead1968 So what. The United Kingdom is a constitutional monarchy where executive power is delegated by legislation and social conventions to a unitary parliamentary democracy. I dont see how one word can describe whether a nation is a democracy or not. There are loads of different democracies formed from different historical perspectives. The important thing is that the majority should always rule. As thats where the moderates and civilised always live. Otherwise you will always have the extremes, from the far right, or the far left ruling. And then maybe even becoming unaccountable to the people.
