@lf3361 What do you think ukraine has been doing these past couple of years. Those are ukranian dead, both civilian and military, that are keeping your military and mine at home safe. Funny then that the ukranian and my nations military uk stood in solidarity and fought and died alongside yours as part of the iraq coalition after 9/11. Plus all the other allies who joined in during the 20 year war on terror after. How about showing some of that solidarity back. You dont even have to send your troops to die, like we did, to do so this time.

@johnsch1988 Some people in crimea and donetsk chose russia. Not all. All the oblasts and regions voted for ukraines independance from the ussr and russia in 1991. Including crimea and the donbas. Where is shaktar donetsk football club based now for example. What caused all this? 10 years of putins state funded tv propaganda being broadcast 24/7 to all the russian speaking ethnic russians and ukranians living in those border regions. Creating all the ethnic tension required to first elect his puppet yanukovych and then justify his special military 3 day disaster. Putin now uses the same methods worldwide. Using social media/RT etc . Trump/musk seem to be up to the same thing.

You forgot the trump far right nationalist bit. You know. Isolalationism and project 2025 style authoritarianism. Harris has already said she will implement the republican border package deal that trump tried to prevent. So that aint open borders. Is it? Plus most people want a bit of capitalism and a bit of social justice. Which is what the democrats provide. You need a trip to cuba or venezuala if you want to experience real socialism.

@annaponie No we don’t need to help Ukraine anymore...Yep lets all be selfish nationalists and not stand by them as they and many others did for you after 9/11. The Europe nations should stand together and assist Ukraine.... They already are. So is every other democracy worldwide. Why are you different? Problem with democracy? We already had sent then enough help.......So has everybody else. Some far more per gdp than the US. Who is going to help us now that our economy is so weak ??China???....You have the strongest economy in the world. There is a reason so many people trying to get into the states.
