Yep Putins government spends 1.5 billion usd (115billion rubles) of its annual budget on propaganda. Half of it going to RT and their state tv/radio. It has also been tripled since the invasion. So its not surprising they target popular american and western media with their troll farms.

Every country has far right nationalists including the states. And like all extremist minorities they shout the loudest and are the most active. Like in CNN comment sections.

Fortunately for us we have international law deciding what is a sovereign country and not individuals like you and imperialist putin. Ukraine had an independance referendum in 1991 were 92% voted in favour with all the oblasts supporting, including donbas and crimea. Same as many other former states of the ussr. They were then recognised as an independant sovereign state by the whole world, including by russia.

@tyleroryan Well you would do being a putin supporting nationalist troll wouldnt you. The US spends trillions anyway on its military budget to defend against external threats like putins russia. So spending a fraction of it to deplete and destroy that same threat whilst at the same time sanctioning its economy into ruin. All without losing a single serviceman/woman whilst doin so. Plus your helping another fledgling democracy become part of the free world. Plus your doing it within a coalition not on your own. Plus its the right thing for a civilised people to do etc etc.

@tyleroryan Iraq and afghanistan was part of the "war on terror" after 9/11. With sunni islamic fundamentalist groups declaring a terror war on western civilisation. So those wars were ours. Obama said it would take 20 years to win it and now 20 odd years later that war has been won as no major terror attacks on the west since afghan.
