War crimes are the deliberate targetting of civilians. The west do not bomb indiscriminately. Civilians are killed in error just like friendly fire happens. Its terribly sad but at least the west tries to limit its happening. Meanwhile we live in an age now where every action can be video documented and putins russian military have been shown to be indiscriminately bombing and shelling civilian areas. Plus where they have occupied territory they seem to have murdered and terrorised the local civilians. Something again the western military would never resort too. Some individuals may have done so but if caught at least the west punishes its perpetrators. Also this indian guy parrots the nationalistic views of the current indian leader and his government. He wants to be careful that mohdi doesnt do a putin in india and create a fascist like state there. Democracy and the freedoms that go with it are precious. Nationalism/fascism are the opposite.

If ukranian army was killing civilians in the donbas then why not raise it at the UN? Some crimes against humanity were reported against azov apparently but also some by the DPR and LPR. The far right got just 2% in the last ukraine election with no mp elected. Every country has a small representation of fascist/nationalist/nazi types. Some of them are supporting putin in these and other YT comment sections. Putin has supported far right groups financially worldwide. Also this war started 21 years ago when putin decided to begin his long drawn out campaign to reverse the ukrainians decision to vote for their independance. Putin simply does not recognise that decision and believes that a free ukraine does not exist in his "greater russian world".

There is always a tiny minority of fascists/nationalists/nazi within every country. You cannot accuse a country of millions with the actions of a few thousand. The reason they were incorporated into the national guard was to gain proper leadership of them so surely thats a good thing. Also the far right got just 2% of the vote in their election. Zelenskys party is centrist and poroshenkos to the left. The former nazi azov leader you mentioned stood in that election and got knowhere. As for the accusations of crimes against humanity in the donbas i think you will find there are ones against the DPR and LPR too. If putin was really concerned about it then why not just move into the DPR and LPR areas after recognising them and create an exclusion zone along the disputed border. No he didnt tho because his true intention at the beginning, maybe still is, was to regime change and recreate the old USSR trio or russia, belorus and ukraine into a "greater russian world". Thats what this "special operation" was really all about. Now its all about saving face.

@dipthongthathongthongthong9691 The nationalist indian foreign ministry that is. Fascists/nationalists support fascists/nationalists the world over.

@dipthongthathongthongthong9691 They are when freedom, democracy and most importantly truth matters. The far right and its media has a tendancy to lie. To propagandise. Western/democracy media has left/centre/ right political viewpoints. So checks and balances. "Human rights" violations are investigated and punished when necessary.

Or further to 1991 when 92% voted for ukraines independance. Russia recognising ukraine and putins now long drawn out campaign to reverse that decision firstly by interfereing politically through yanukovych and even poisoning during the orange revolution. Russian state tv saturating the border areas housing the russian speakers there for over 20 odd tyears. No doubt influencing politically and creating ethnic division. Its never been about nato expansion. He, as are all dictators , is far more concerned about democracy expansion. But much more than that he wants to turn the clock back to 1990 and restore the lost empire again
