  1. So, Victim - Holding phone, looking down, looks up and sees a cop car then slows down about to turn the corner. (he's holding a pair of keys with his left hand, hence the clench-like fist) Trooper - asks for MO from Dispatcher, recognizes some similarity in the supposed MO and Victim, within 3 seconds of opening his door and 1 second of giving verbal commands he discharges his weapon (7 times?) fatally injuring the victim. Now I don't demonize police officers, I'm also Irish so I don't know Western Police training standards. But this Officer had no intention to arrest this man 'alive' in this situation from the given video from the camera POV and Trooper body-cam POV. But the victim took every possible precaution approaching the Trooper, acknowledge the threat - respect the threat (he respected the threat by lowering his phone and placing all attention on the squad car) and still was killed due to the Troopers inability to take command of the situation - he had a lot of space between the victim and the door of his squad car, also a lot behind it. He failed to give a reasonable time to acknowledge the verbal commands and considering the victims supposed age, it should have been a solid 4 seconds for him to hear, acknowledge and comply. This man didn't have to be executed like this, again, I don't demonize police, but this case is a open-shut with this evidence. I believe we should take human error, lack of training and clear lack of judgement & common sense into account though. The Trooper should be prosecuted for this in my OPINION.
