How are you going to give away 1.4+ million pounds of spuds? Absolutely no way of doing this without a steady stream of trucks going where they need to go efficiently, this would put the farmers in even more debt and very quickly they'd find themselves needing to be helped too.

@pechoja Ah yes, 5G mobile data will give everyone cancer.. Because there's such a big difference in the radiowaves from the previously used 1G, 2G, 3G and 4G that they'll now cause cancer, for some reason. Do you people hear yourselves?

@dizelhanif517 Who's going to pay to get a plane large enough to airdrop a hundred thousand spuds? Who's going to pay for the fuel? The pilot? The casing for the spuds, the parachute? Who's going to pack the parachute? Who's going to pack the spuds into the packages? Surely you're not expecting some spud growers to do all that for free and probably put themselves in a situation where they also need bailing out.
