  9. There's an entire developmental reason for why the SCUDS were only intercepted about half the time. The Patriot has received over 20 years of development since then.

  10.  @olisk-jy9rz  The Patriot was never meant for catching the erratic nature of the SCUD missiles, it was only really successful after the software update that was embedded into it just after Operation Iraqi Freedom which needed refining. Refining which it got, and the interception rate went from around 30% to over 99%. No SCUD hit it's target after the update. Patriot has been intercepting Russian cruise and ballistic missiles around Kiev for over a year now. Only two confirmed batteries have been hit with only one confirmed radar destruction, sounds very good in comparison to the amount of S300/S400 destroyed by ATACMS so far, don't you think?

  12.  @vladimir08090  There wasn't over a million casualties in Iraq, there was 100k as a direct result of the invasion. The 1 million figure comes from the years before during Operation Desert Shield, Operation Desert Storm and then Operation Iraqi Freedom. The combined total of these conflicts, all of which were started by Sadam Hussein in both his attempts at occupying Kuwait, is around 1 million people by Iraqi estimates.

  19. 01:20 is anyone really believing that Ukraine has lost 2,000 personnel in one front in one week? Russia is reportedly losing 1-2k a week across the entire front where they're mostly on the offensive and thus taking more casualties, but Ukraine is somehow losing more than double at best yet still holding onto ground in Kursk and being only slowly pushed back in the East. Seriously? Does anyone really believe this? Surely Russians have to look at these and say "this doesn't add up" 03:43 this is not a Bradley from the 80s, this is an M3A2-4 Bradley which was introduced in 2001-2020 at the latest.

  20.  @kenrik2105  Russia HAD an artillery advantage of 20:1, that has been diminished down to 3:1 at best and 1:1 at worst according to the Ukrainians who admitted to both the 10:1 and 20:1 figures. Ukraine has every reason to lie about an artillery shell disparity, the fact they aren't likely means it's true. Russian offensive don't include many precision strike, we see time and time against assaults using 10, 20 maybe 30 vehicles be repulsed because the objective is entrenched.

  22. @ Simple, without an air force you lose a modern war. Every country with a superior air force, bar Russia, has won a war they've entered. The Russians, and Soviets, were just awful at making aircraft and organising the units. "But in the words of many military commentators" Who? If there's so many then it'll be easy to list the people confidently stating that NATOs entire air force would have lost to Ukrainian air defenses in six months. F-35s flew over Iranian anti-air batteries, which are Russian S300/S400, and completely obliterated Iran's missile production without a single loss. What makes you think Ukraine or Russia would survive a thousand F-35s and several hundred Typhoons? Russia is so focused on defending their nation that they actively invade anyone who neighbours them! Chechnya, Georgia, Ukraine, but never anyone who could fight back like Finland, weird.. The only source for any Su-57 kills are Russian outlets, not a single independent source can verify any of the claims nor was any HUD or video released of any alleged air-to-air kills.

  24.  @hugh8329  The Abrams was never deployed to Kandahar. Have you ever been to Kandahar? There's nowhere a tank could operate, it's hills and mountainside paths. Helmand possibly, but I've never heard of Abrams being deployed to combat in Afghanistan. They mostly sat around in dry storage collecting maintenance hours.

  27. These are M1A2 Bradleys, not M1A3s. Even then these things are better than any IFV that Russia has fielded at the moment.
