  9.  @ac1646  Russia has never been considered Western, the Balkans are not Western European they're Eastern European. The Ottomans were defeated every time at Vienna and their incursion into greater Austria. The Abassids were also defeated every time they invaded France with relative ease like at Tours.

Also to call Atila a Turk is like calling the Mongols Turks, modern day Turks are closer to Arabs than they are actual Turks who once roamed Anatolia. The Huns originated from the Volga, Russia.

  14. The US actually doesn't fund these ones, history shows Turkey and Saudi Arabia does. HTS fights the Kurds, Kurds are fighting Turkey, Turkey funds HTS which keeps Kurds fighting in Syria. The US gains little from funding these groups in reality as they're not wanting to establish caliphates which they'd then international support in stopping just like ISIS.
