  1.  @kngharv  Incorrect. BYD sold 500,000 MORE cars than Tesla last year. Tesla have already lost. All Tesla SUV's are made in China, that is why you think they are doing well. Interestingly when the Freemont Tesla factory shut down because of COVID, Musk went NUTS and threatened to pull out of CA altogether. When COVID shut down the Chinese Tesla factory, MUSK did NOT utter a word. He kept quiet. China is the daddy.....

  4. There is also the fact that BYD has surpassed Tesla in every way. Tesla is OK with old designs and technology. they still sell jellymould cars and their NEW battery technology 4680 cells is so far behind BYD. This year BYD start production of their 1000KM Sodium blade batteries.

  5. Incorrect. The reason BYD is NOT in the US market is because it is an unimportant market. Many car manufacturers DO NOT sell in the US, it is not just BYD. The EU market is the same size as the US market. It is NOT because of the lack of infrastructure. All car manufacturers are following the Tesla system of online sales. the days of the dealership are GONE with EV's. You only needed a dealership for ICE cars. No longer required with EV's. Farley is going down that route as well, selling directly to the public and no shenanigans with dealerships and their pricing.
