  1. Quite a few inaccuracies in this report. BYD over took Tesla in 2022, selling 500.000 more units. The first quarter of 2023, they sold more vehicles than Tesla did for the whole of 2022. You guys in the US dont have the choice in vehicles that we in the rest of the World have. The report is accurate in that Western vehicle manufacturers cannot compete with China. It doesn't matter really, the US market is not that important for global trade. It is the same size as the EU market. Most of the current Chinese vehicle output is being sold in Russia, as sanctions has disrupted the supply of Western vehicles.
