  2. Nothing new Dan. The US is WAAAYYY behind the rest of the World when it comes to banking. After the GFC, our banks in Europe cleaned up their act and removed the loss making sections. That was bank branches. We lost 80% of our branches, We had 3 banks in our small town and now there are NONE. What happens in Europe hits the US. The branches are GONE! So are money orders and cheques. The last time I wrote a cheque was in 2009. EVERYTHING is digital, by Computer and now smart phone. A lot of people lost their jobs in the banking industry. It is coming to you whether you like it or not. The small and medium banks are in serious trouble right now and MUST cut costs. Many WILL close in the next 2 years. It is, what it is.
