  1. yup, there are guys that are very good at kicking the squatters of the premises. The anti-squatters have a bona fide lease document from the property owner. The squatters have nothing. They call the police and the squatters get kicked out, they have no lease to be living there..

  2. Most landowners think they own the land their house is on. They do not, they only rent the land from the govt. they may own the house that sits on the land. What people can NOW do is Adverse Possession. They can take unused land and become the new 'owners'. It is usually in the form of someone has the land next to yours, they move the title lines so they control what was your land. Once its registered at the Land Registry, all they have to do is wait a couple of years, and the land is officially registered to them. But yes, you do not own the land your house is on, you only rent it from the Govt. The Govt can take it back the land at any time they wish, by Compulsory Purchase Order.

  3. Changed days now, the laws have changed. As advised, the squatters have more rights than the owner and the owner will end up in prison.

  4. Yup, they will end up owning it while you serve a lot of time in prison. You got to know where yo legally stand, and you discover you have zero rights.
